About
Mateo
Hi, I'm Mateo! I find it crucial to provide a therapeutic, judgment-free space, where clients can feel comfortable bringing in their authentic selves. In my 10+ years of practice, I blend my lived experience and clinical knowledge in supporting clients with a variety of life issues/challenges, including feeling stuck. I possess a strong passion for working with marginalized/underrepresented communities with stigmatized intersecting identities such as the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. I am sex-positive, body-positive, gender-affirming, and LGBTQ+, kink, and non-traditional relationship affirming.
I identify as a first generation, queer, and latine therapist that enjoys listening to 80s/synth music, cafecito time with friends, traveling, shopping at the local spooky art walks, and watching ghost hunting shows.
