About
Mateo
Mateo is a first generation, queer, and latine therapist, who finds it crucial to provide a therapeutic, judgement-free space, where clients can feel comfortable bringing in their authentic selves. In his practice, Mateo blends his lived experience and clinical knowledge in supporting clients with a variety of life issues/challenges, including feeling stuck. He possess a strong passion for working with marginalized/underrepresented communities with stigmatized intersecting identities such as the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. He is sex-positive, body-positive, gender-affirming; and LGBTQ+, kink, and non-traditional relationship affirming.
In his spare time, Mateo enjoys 80s music, cafecito time with friends, traveling, shopping at the local spooky art walks, and watching ghost hunting shows.
