About
Lydia
Hi! I’m Lydia. While I have been a therapist for over 20 years, I consider myself a lifelong learner. I value curiosity, authenticity, being rooted in science, and listening accurately, and I aim to show up in those ways.
I support my clients by empowering them to know their voice and to learn to trust themselves. And I walk alongside in a way that is gentle, honest, collaborative, and practical.
I specialize in working with people navigating major life transitions such as ending college/starting work and empty-nesting. I also specialize in working with pre- and post-natal moms and dads and helping individuals who are managing medical conditions. As a first generation Chinese-American myself, I have a heart for the BIPOC community and intercultural connection.
Outside of work-
Fun fact: I am on a local competitive jigsaw puzzling team with my husband and close friends! An introvert, I find creative ways to be in community while also nurturing alone time to recharge. I am grateful for my morning ritual of swimming: the soothing water, the peace of rhythmic movement and breath. I also delight in being my cat’s person and giving back to nature.
