About
Alissa
I genuinely love what I do because I enjoy working right alongside you to help you gain clarity, build emotional balance, and strengthen your sense of self. My goal is to help you live your life with greater confidence, deeper connections, and a true sense of purpose.
When you work with me, you will find that my approach is built entirely on collaboration, compassion, and real, grounded authenticity. I don't sit across from you as a rigid expert; I'm a real person walking through this process with you.
In our sessions, I focus on balancing genuine warmth and empathy with gentle challenges and practical tools. We will celebrate your wins, but we will also look honestly at what is keeping you stuck. I want to make sure you leave our time together with actionable strategies that help you make sustainable, real-world progress—both during our sessions and in your day-to-day life outside of them.
When I’m not wearing my therapist hat, my favorite thing to do is spend quality time with my kids. As a family, we love going for walks outside—and yes, that includes bringing along both our dog and our cat!
Staying active is important to me, but I also love slowing down in the kitchen to cook or bake something delicious. When I'm looking for a bit of inspiration or a fun night out, you can usually find me catching a great theater show or a live concert.
Sharing these pieces of my life helps give you a sense of who I am as a whole person, because therapy works best when you feel a real, human connection.
