About
Zoraida
Hello there. My name is Zoraida (zor-EYE-duh, lol) and have been a therapist for about seven years. My approach is to be present for clients, so that they feel heard and understood. I believe this is helpful to healing and change. From there, I may suggest/teach/consider potential strategies, or what have you, that may benefit clients in their respective lives. I tend to focus on cognitive strategies, but can implement strategies from other therapies - whatever seems best. I firmly believe that each client knows themself best.
I am the lucky human companion to my two dogs and cat. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, and watching TV or going to the movies. Horror is a favorite genre for books and film. Recently, I have gotten into sports (go, Storm!). I am a second-generation Mexican American from a border town.
