About
Victoria
My name is Victoria, and I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe therapy is a partnership, and we’ll work together to identify your goals and build practical skills that support your well-being. At times, I may use experiential exercises, such as the Two-Chair technique, to help you better understand conflicting thoughts or emotions, gain new perspectives, and move toward greater clarity and self-compassion. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel empowered to grow at a pace that feels right for you.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, fishing, hiking, bowling, and attending church. I value staying connected with the people and activities that bring me joy and help me maintain a healthy balance in life. Whether I'm enjoying the outdoors, sharing time with loved ones, or participating in my faith community, these experiences help me recharge and bring a greater sense of perspective and gratitude to the work I do. I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. I strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where clients from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences feel safe, valued, and supported

education and experience
  • My professional experience spans community mental health, residential treatment, correctional mental health, employee assistance, case management, and hospital settings. I currently provide individual therapy, comprehensive behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and resource coordination for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs. I have also served as a Mental Health Consultant in a correctional setting, where I conducted mental health evaluations, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention, and collaborated with psychiatric providers to support individuals experiencing acute behavioral health concerns. In outpatient and employee assistance settings, I have provided individual counseling, brief therapy, crisis support, and referrals to community resources. My experience as a behavioral health case manager included coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams, completing assessments, discharge planning, and connecting clients with medical, behavioral health, and community services. Earlier in my career, I worked in hospital and long-term care settings, where I gained valuable experience supporting patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and developing a strong foundation in compassionate, person-centered care. During my graduate internship at the Clackamas County Urgent Mental Health Clinic, I conducted mental status examinations, biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessments, treatment planning, and case management while supporting individuals experiencing urgent mental health crises. I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mental Health, Social Services, Addictions, and Counseling from Mt. Hood Community College, a Bachelor of Social Work from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, and a Master of Social Work from Portland State University.
