About
Verniece
I am a highly experienced behavioral health clinician that enjoys working in partnership with my clients to form a strong alliance, therapeutic bond, and to help them move through the stages of change, so that they feel confident to address their challenges independently moving forward. I am known for creating a supportive, culturally responsive therapeutic environment that fosters safety, insight, and meaningful change by being a conversationalist that doesn't believe in being anything other than myself. I approach clinical work integrating evidence-based modalities, alongside psychoeducation and strengths-based interventions. I specialize in helping individuals develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience while addressing underlying cognitive and behavioral patterns that contribute to distress.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, reading a good book, and taking a good nap. I find joy in laughter, reading, and quiet moments either out walking, or alone.
