About
Troy
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, and the lasting effects of adverse childhood experiences. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. I believe that meaningful change begins by meeting people where they are and working collaboratively to build practical, sustainable coping strategies that fit their unique lives.
Drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I tailor treatment to each client's goals while emphasizing emotional resilience, self-awareness, and growth. Whether someone is facing overwhelming stress, healing from past experiences, or seeking healthier ways to manage life's challenges, I strive to provide compassionate guidance and effective tools for lasting change.
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy attending live concerts and playing acoustic music on guitar, banjo, and ukulele. I live in a rural community with my wife, our school-age son, and our four cats, and I value the balance that nature, family, and music bring to everyday life.
