About
Tiffany
Welcome, I’m Tiffany McManus, MSSW, LCSW
Taking the step to start therapy requires courage, and I am so glad you are here. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, managing a chronic mental health condition, or feeling completely overwhelmed by daily stressors, you don't have to carry it all alone. My goal is to collaborate with you to create a supportive, compassionate, and entirely judgment-free space where you feel genuinely heard and empowered to initiate positive, lasting change.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe that therapy should be a fluid, open dialogue centered around what is achievable and meaningful to you. My therapeutic style is deeply rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I blend evidence-based modalities to tailor our sessions to your unique needs, helping you connect with your values and build practical tools for the real world.
I have been dedicated to the mental health field for over 18 years, working across various settings including crisis intervention, corporate wellness, and intensive clinical programs. This background allows me to meet clients exactly where they are, whether they are in an active crisis or looking for long-term personal growth.
Depending on your goals, we may utilize:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Mindfulness to help you anchor yourself in the present and live aligned with your core values.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore and reshape unhelpful thought patterns.
Solution-Focused & Trauma-Informed Care to build on your inherent strengths while honoring your past experiences.
Emotionally Focused & Interpersonal Therapies to deepen your self-awareness and improve communication in your relationships.
My primary specialties and clinical focus areas include:
Neurodivergence & Mental Health Support: Executive functioning and support for ADHD and Autism, as well as managing Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, and Postpartum Mood Disorders.
Life Transitions & Relationship Dynamics: Navigating divorce, family issues, infidelity, role transitions, and providing a safe, affirming space for the LGBTQ+ community.
Burnout, Stress & Self-Esteem: Overcoming work burnout, imposter syndrome, caregiver fatigue, and balancing demanding work/life schedules while building solid self-esteem.
Healing from Trauma & Grief: Processing profound loss, navigating complex grief, managing Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and healing from trauma or PTSD.
When I’m not working with clients, I recharge by fueling my own passions. I love traveling to new places, taking long drives with a great playlist, and attending music festivals. I’m also an animal lover and regularly volunteer with local animal rescues. On the weekends, you can usually find me hunting for unique treasures at local thrifts and vintage swap meets.
