About
Sylvia
I am passionate about helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. I believe that healing and growth happen within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship and I strive to create a space where my clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood.
My clinical style is warm, collaborative, and authentic. I take a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, recognizing that each person's experiences, values, and goals are unique. I work alongside my clients to explore patterns, process difficult emotions, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I value helping clients develop insight while also providing practical tools that support growth both inside and outside of therapy. I am passionate about empowering my clients to move towards lives that feel more aligned with who they are and what matters most to them.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, hitting up concerts, and staying active with long walks and Pilates. I’m also a big fan of getting creative with journaling, painting, and pottery. When I’m ready to unwind, you’ll usually find me lost in an audiobook, catching up on my favorite podcasts, or enjoying a bit of reality TV.
