About
Sunny
Hi there, my name is Sunny like sunshine! As a therapist, I've worked in a variety of environments including schools, private practices, hospitals, and drug/alcohol treatment centers. I've helped people of all backgrounds heal from childhood abuse, codependency, addiction, and low self-esteem. Whether it's your first time or millionth time in therapy, I enjoy helping people grow into the best version of themselves.
Every therapist has a different approach. Mine is collaborative. I don't like being a dictator, calling all the shots. I'll lead, but I don't want you to feel like you have no say in where we go. My approach is getting to the root of what's causing your issues and finding solutions to cope, overcome, and build inner strength to deal with your past, present, and future.
Together, we'll figure out what your dreams and goals are and how to make it a reality through actionable steps.
I was born and raised in SoCal, so I love going to the ocean. Outside of work, you'll most likely find me sampling (too much) coffee and matcha, trying a new hobby, or volunteering at a food pantry. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and learning.
