About
Stephanie
I believe that healing is not just personal — it's political, relational, and deeply rooted in who we are and where we come from. I'm Stephanie Sanchez, She/Her/Ella, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience supporting those who are finding their way back to themselves. My work lives at the intersection of identity, liberation, and belonging — because I know that so much of our pain is not a personal failing, but a natural response to systems that were never designed to hold us. Many of the people I work with are navigating the exhaustion of a world that demands productivity over presence, individualism over community, and disconnection over rootedness. Together, we create space to slow down, to grieve what's been lost, and to remember what's always been there - your body's wisdom, your ancestral knowledge, your right to live in right relationship with the earth and with each other. I draw on psychodynamic and relationship-based frameworks as well as Mindfulness-based, trauma-informed, CBT/ACT/DBT therapies, and somatic/body-based approaches weaving them together in a way that honors your whole self, not just your symptoms. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or a deep sense that something needs to shift, I meet you where you are with curiosity, honesty, and care. I warmly welcome individuals on a path of community healing and reclaiming a life that feels in alignment with your values.
Outside of work, I enjoy tending to my plants, reading books authored by LGBTQ+ & BIWOC, and spending time with my dogs.
