About
Stephanie
Hi, I’m Stephanie. As a therapist working in the field for 8 years, I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing openly, and exploring whatever brings you to therapy. I take a collaborative approach, helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while gently encouraging growth when you’re feeling stuck. I also believe you already have many strengths, and together we’ll build on those to help you feel more confident, resilient, and capable of handling life’s challenges. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with what matters most to them. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected, I’ll help you identify your values, discover what motivates and inspires you, and make choices that align with the life you want to create. My hope is that you leave each session feeling empowered, supported, and with practical tools you can use long after therapy ends. I work best with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and low self-esteem. I have a special passion for supporting people of color, including Black women, Asian women, and adults from diverse backgrounds who may be balancing cultural expectations, identity, and life’s unique stressors. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work together to help you build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a life that aligns with your values.
In my free time, I love staying active and being outdoors. You’ll often find me going for a run, hiking, or trying a new fitness class. One of my goals is to complete a half marathon someday. I also enjoy exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, spending time in nature, and making memories with my family and friends. At home, I love relaxing with my Goldendoodle, Graham. I’m also a big animal lover. If it’s helpful for you to know, I’m biracial (Black and Filipino) and a Christian. I grew up in San Diego and have called the Bay Area home for more than 10 years. My experiences have shaped who I am and allow me to bring curiosity, cultural humility, and genuine respect into the therapy room.
