About
Shannon
I am motivated by a deep belief in your innate capacity for growth and healing. I practice through a humanistic lens, which means I view you as the ultimate expert on your own life. Our therapeutic relationship is a collaborative partnership; I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Because every person’s journey is unique, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I thoughtfully blend several evidence-based practices to tailor our work to your specific needs. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
Together, we will work to untangle the impact of past trauma, break unhelpful patterns, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections in your relationships.
I believe that practicing what I preach about balance and self-care is essential. In my free time, you can usually find me out on the trails hiking with my dog, losing myself in a good book, or recharging by spending quality time with my family.
I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your path toward healing and meaningful change.
