About
Shannon
"Shannon’s motivation as a clinician stems from both professional experience and a deeply personal connection to mental health. Through her work as a therapist and social worker, she has witnessed how trauma and anxiety can profoundly affect individuals and families, and she is driven by a genuine desire to help others find healing, stability, and empowerment. Her own experiences with mental health have strengthened her empathy and her commitment to providing care that is both authentic and compassionate.
Clinically, Shannon’s style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. She believes that meaningful progress occurs within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Shannon integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and grounding techniques, while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs and pace.
Her work is guided by the belief that every individual holds the capacity for growth and healing when supported with understanding, respect, and the right tools for change."
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys time with family, traveling, reading and just being present for the small things. Shannon also enjoys astrology and Pilates.
