Her passion to work in the mental health field comes from the belief that trauma is a quality-of-life issue. She approaches her clients with curiosity and compassion with an interest in their identity and life experiences. She emphasizes the importance of finding purpose, increasing resiliency and self-esteem, and moving past one’s past through culturally sensitive and evidence-based practices. 

For leisure time, Sara enjoys being with family and friends, playing games, and cross stitching.
