Therapeutically, he specializes in substance abuse counseling/addiction, as he is certified as a substance use counselor and has worked in substance abuse treatment as a residential treatment technician before becoming a therapist. Further, he specializes in working with kids & adolescents who struggle with emotional defiance/conduct disorders & developmental disabilities. Further, Ryan has experience in dual diagnosis treatment and exploring grief/loss issues. Ryan’s style to therapy comes from a Rogerian, CBT, and Humanistic approach and embracing the “entire self”.
Outside of being a therapist, he enjoys participating in ministry work, being active in recreational sports, volunteering as a crisis counselor & hospice volunteer.

- Ryan Jordan (AMFT/LPCC) is currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor & holds a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Hope International University. His academic curriculum specialized in: family systems, biopsychosocial thought, psychodynamic approaches, and person centered interventions. Some of his past work experience has included: working in special education as a substitute teacher, in the public-school sector as a tutor/instructional assistant, and as an in-home behavior interventionist working with kids who have developmental disabilities.
