About
Ruth
I am passionate about partnering with clients, harnessing their strengths to overcome barriers to change. I believe that when provided a safe and empowering environment, individuals are powerful collaborators for their own healing and growth. I approach therapy from a trauma-focused and cultural lens emphasizing empathic attunement, holistic healing, and unconditional positive regard.
In my free time I feel the most fulfilled spending quality time with friends and family. I enjoy tapping into creativity through painting, drawing, dance and the occasional art class. My favorite movement to do throughout the week is yoga, walks or Pilates. I identify as a first generation born Asian American and am part of the AAPI community.
