About
Poonam
"I believe engaging in therapy is a courageous first step in seeking a more fulfilling and happier life. My therapeutic style prioritizes safety, providing a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood without fear of judgment. My MFT practice is built on three key guiding principles: compassion, authenticity, and collaboration.
I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families using an integrative approach of cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, attachment-based, solution-focused, EFT, and short-term therapies determined by the client's requirements.
My life experiences have given me a high level of cultural sensitivity, and a globally informed perspective. I have worked and trained as a psychotherapist at Stanford dedicated to Faculty and Staff to address various personal and professional issues. "
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and hiking with my two dogs. I enjoy nature, movies, music, spirituality and playing with my son.
