About
Nora
I bring years of experience as a therapist and a calm, grounded presence to my work. I believe that people have a remarkable capacity for growth, healing, and change, even during some of life's most difficult moments. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted exactly as you are. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside you to better understand your experiences and find meaningful ways to move forward. I pay attention not only to your thoughts and emotions, but also to how stress, trauma, and life experiences can show up in the body. Together, we'll build awareness, develop practical tools, and strengthen your connection to yourself. While therapy can involve difficult moments, I also believe in the importance of hope, humor, and finding moments of lightness along the way. Healing doesn't have to happen without laughter, and sometimes those moments can be just as meaningful as the hard work.
I enjoy spending meaningful time with my family, practicing yoga, and being in nature. Whether I'm bird watching, taking a walk, or simply slowing down enough to appreciate the world around me, being outdoors helps me stay grounded and present. I'm naturally curious and enjoy reading, visiting art museums, listening to music, and following women's basketball. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I value creating an affirming and welcoming space where people from all backgrounds and identities can feel safe, respected, and understood. I also have a special passion for supporting people who stutter and helping them navigate the emotional impact of communication challenges.
