About
Nikita
My motivation for becoming a therapist comes from understanding what it feels like to be different and not always fit into the expectations of the world around you. I’m especially passionate about working with people who are navigating their identities, relationships, and the pressures that come from family, culture, and society. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel accepted and understood without having to change who they are to belong. My clinical style is warm, affirming, collaborative, and empowering. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves, exploring their experiences without judgment, and challenging expectations that may no longer serve them. I also recognize that our struggles don’t exist in isolation, and I help clients understand how their relationships, environments, and lived experiences shape their lives. Ultimately, I want clients to feel empowered to make choices that reflect who they are and what matters most to them.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, trying different foods, and spending quality time with friends and family. I identify as a first-generation immigrant, Asian, and a part of the LGBTQ+ community. These parts of my identity have shaped how I see the world and deepened my appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and experiences. I value meaningful connections, laughter, and creating a life that feels authentic to who I am.
