About
Myles
Hello, my name is Myles. I believe that too often we do not feel able to tell our stories and be heard, and that is where I come in. I like to give my clients a space where they feel that they are able to tell their stories and feel that they are really heard and known. As work with my clients I try to help them to recognize that patterns and connections that stand out in their stories and their lives, and then I work with them to feel the freedom to take ownership in meaningful ways, one step at a time. How this works depends on the individual, because none of our lives or stories are exactly the same, and what works for one of us may not work for another.
Furthermore, as a disabled individual, I have a heart to help others living with disabilities, be they personally disabled like myself, or someone who is close to a disabled individual. I understand that it can be tempting to deny our own person pain for the sake of a loved one, but I believe that the best way to be present for those we love is to be honest about our own pain as well.
I am a Christian husband and father. I try to start my days by reading the Bible and praying, because I find that my days go better when I do. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with my wife and toddler daughter, often playing, dancing, reading together, and going to the park as a family. Finally, I enjoy cooking a variety of enjoyable meals for my family.
