He/Him
Mitchell
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Mitch strives to help his clients become more of who they want to be and are, at their core. He believes that his clients are brave for having the courage to face their fears and challenges, and is known for being an empowering and encouraging voice on the path towards change and healing. Mitch uses a combination of theories (with fun acronyms such as IFS, DBT, and CBT) to help tailor his approach to the person in front of him...because he knows that everyone is unique, and deserves an approach that honors that reality.

When he's not doing his dream job (he still can't believe he gets paid to have this much fun being a therapist), Mitch finds that his favorite "hobby" is being a father and a husband. Family is definitely first for him. He also finds great comfort, meaning, and inspiration from his faith, and spent almost two decades engaged in ministry of some sort. In addition, he really enjoys sports (watching and playing), reading fiction and therapy books, a great movie, playing guitar or drums, spending time with family and friends, cooking or baking, and being sarcastic (maybe that one should have been second, if it was all in order of importance).
