Michelle Vickers
She/her
Michelle
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Michelle is motivated by a deep commitment to helping adults build insight, resilience, and sustainable change. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and PhD Candidate specializing in trauma and advanced human behavior, she is especially driven to support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and major life transitions. She believes meaningful therapy happens when clients feel both genuinely understood and appropriately challenged, creating a space where they can safely explore patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward long-term growth.
Her clinical style is warm, collaborative, and structured. Michelle integrates evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and skills-based interventions—while tailoring treatment to each client’s specific goals. She balances empathy with accountability, helping clients translate insight into practical, measurable change. Described as grounded and thoughtful, she values clarity and consistency to ensure therapy remains both reflective and action-oriented.
n her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and staying active. She loves scuba diving and being near the water, which helps her recharge and reset. She also enjoys playing video games as a fun way to unwind and engage her strategic and creative thinking. At home, she spends time with her four very spoiled dogs and values quality time with her husband. Michelle believes maintaining balance outside of work helps her show up grounded, present, and energized for her clients.
