About
Melissa
Hi, I'm Melissa! My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a genuinely safe and judgment-free environment where you can just be yourself. I know that our cultural backgrounds deeply shape how we experience the world, and I make sure your unique identity is honored in our sessions. I bring a calm, empathetic presence to our work, focused on truly hearing your story. Together, we'll identify your unique strengths and use them to tackle the challenges you're facing. My greatest joy as a therapist is watching you grow, heal, and reconnect with your confidence and self-worth.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you can usually find me soaking up the outdoors or exploring National Parks. As a proud Latina, deep family connection is a cornerstone of my life and keeps me grounded. Of course, I also believe in the restorative power of downtime! Whether I'm soaking in the energy of a live concert or curled up on the couch binge-watching a great TV show, I do my best to practice the same balance and self-care that I encourage in my clients.
