Mayela
I enjoy learning about my clients and establishing a strong therapeutic relationship in order to work toward their healing. I believe that empathy, compassion and a secure relationship with one’s self is the key to fostering a life of honesty and resilience. I have extensive experience in working with children and families and enjoy using an attachment based therapeutic framework with clients of any age. I use a collaborative and integrative therapeutic approach to meet clients where they’re at and provide the skills and guidance needed to reach their goals.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my senior dog Charlie and spending time with my loved ones. I'm a big fan of music and enjoy going to concerts when I can as well as exploring the history, art and culture that my city and new places have to offer. I'm a proud first generation Mexican-American and speak Spanish fluently.
