About
Matthew
Hello there! My name is Matt Stephan. Since I started practicing psychotherapy over 10 years ago, I have seen a wide array of clients from different cultures, identities, and backgrounds. I have experience treating a multitude of mental health challenges including poor self esteem, anger management, substance abuse, and trauma. I take a collaborative approach to treatment and believe that people are the experts of their own lives. I find it important to set realistic, values-driven goals throughout care in order to help my clients become the best versions of themselves.
In my spare time, I like watching baseball, skateboarding with my brother, camping with my dog, and coaching my niece's softball team. I really enjoy doing things outside in the sun, like running the occasional 10K with my wife or playing softball with my friends and family. I also spend a fair amount of time at swap meets and flea markets looking for vintage clothes, baseball cards, or other random treasures.
