About
Matthew
I love creating a comfortable environment where my clients feel completely free to express themselves. I truly believe everyone has hidden or unrecognized strengths just waiting to be acknowledged, and I make it a point to highlight those strengths in our work together. I don't believe therapists should be robots, which is why I use a humanistic, person-centered approach. For me, it is incredibly rewarding to help clients understand their feelings, gain insight into their challenges, and make actionable changes in their lives once they feel ready.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, soaking up the sun at the beach, analyzing themes in movies and TV shows, or playing social deduction board games. I also have a deep appreciation for quotes that capture the human condition, and I’ll occasionally bring one into our sessions if I feel it might offer comfort or a helpful new perspective
