Mary
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Mary enjoys working with clients to provide support, feedback and skills that will help them make the changes that are most important during their time in therapy. Mary works with her clients from a strengths-based approach, incorporating therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, family-therapy models, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Mary finds a safe and affirming environment to be very important and strives to create one so that her clients are able to bring their full selves into the therapy room.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time planting and tending to her small patio garden, taking walks and naps with her toy poodle, Ella, and spending time with family and friends. Mary loves to laugh and feels it is important to find ways to bring laughter and joy into all of life’s situations.
