About
Maritza
I love exploring 'thoughtscapes' and emotions alongside my clients to uncover hidden sources of healing and joy. I meet everyone I work with with equity, warmth, openness, and a deep recognition of their own personal expertise. Together, we will gently challenge patterns rooted in trauma and past pain. My goal is to help you discover new sources of peace, heal from past injuries, and step into fulfilling experiences you might not even realize are within reach.
Outside of the therapy room, I cherish quality time with my family, my community, and my four-legged child, Pearly. I’m a big believer in the power of movement, and I will never pass up a gripping true crime story or a scenic drive! I am also a proud, first-generation Salvadoran. This background gives me firsthand insight into the immigrant experience and the generational trauma that often accompanies a history of war—insights I carry directly into my practice to better support my clients.
