About
Mariah
I've always been curious about people and the stories that shape who they are. That curiosity is what led me to become a therapist and continues to inspire my work today. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients explore the emotions, relationships, and life experiences that influence how they see themselves and the world around them. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to better understand yourself. While we may explore difficult topics, I also believe there's room for laughter along the way, healing can hold both. My hope is that through our work together, you'll develop greater self-compassion, deepen your understanding of your experiences, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values.
Outside of work, I enjoy sewing, exploring vintage fashion, listening to music, and spending time with my husband and our dog. I also love teaching and being creative, whether that's working on a new project or finding inspiration in everyday life. I believe creativity, connection, and community are important parts of well-being, and I enjoy bringing that same sense of curiosity and authenticity into both my personal life and my work. As a telehealth therapist, I've had the pleasure of meeting quite a few furry coworkers over the years, so if your pet decides to join our sessions, they're always welcome!
