About
Marcia
I offer a calm, non-judgmental, and LGBTQIA+ affirming space where your culture and lived experience directly inform our work together. Specializing in trauma-informed, Gestalt, mindfulness-based, and humanistic therapy, I support individuals in recovery as well as survivors of IPV, sexual trauma, and narcissistic abuse. My approach is mindful and direct: a strengths-based blend of presence, direct honesty, and humor to build a genuine, real connection. You can expect to work towards rebuilding self-trust, stepping into authenticity, cultivating confidence, and establishing healthy boundaries. I do not give generic homework. There will be zero worksheets and no rigid weekly assignments. Exercises outside of therapy are only introduced if they directly serve your unique growth. If you are ready to do meaningful, authentic work in a safe environment, I invite you to connect today.
I enjoy spending time in nature, connecting with friends and family, meditating, and reading. I listen to every kind of music, all day (when I'm not in session). I love spooky podcasts and stories. I have far too many plants. I absolutely believe that any meal can be breakfast and that cake + tea counts as a meal.
