About
Madan
Hi, I am Madan. Over the last 10 years, I’ve treated a variety of clients with concerns ranging from low mood to complex anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief and loss, divorce, ADHD, immigration and acculturation, and aging process-induced stress and depressed mood. I find it important for both me and my clients to keep an open mind in session, and ask direct questions to get down to root causes. I specialize in working with adult clients: Veterans, immigrants, refugees, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and first-generation Americans.
My approach to therapy is based on the belief that each individual is unique, which requires a tailored psychotherapy approach designed to meet that client's specific needs. Hence, I approach my clients with this philosophy. This leads to a deep understanding of their presenting issues, paving the way for a collaborative approach to treatment that is unique to each client.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, hiking, biking, enjoying nature, or watching a good movie or TV show, or playing tennis and soccer. I find joy in laughter, music, reading, spirituality and quality soothing relationships. I identify as a first generation immigrant. I also enjoy having a cup of tea or coffee in the company of my plants and going to the gym to stay active.
