About
Lea
Hi! I'm Lea. I'm here to assist my clients remember that they have a voice and the power of their choice; to discover what moves them or what makes them happy; and to help them transform the energy of disempowering experiences into discovering and creating a life that they want for themselves. I point out their strengths, help them create solutions, help them identify their feelings so they can be aware of how these affect their behaviors; share coping, communication and adaptive thinking skills; and help them stay grounded in the present to decrease regretting the past and excessively worrying about the future. I am EMDR Trained and going through my certification process; TF-CBT and MAP certified. I use CBT, Mindfulness, ACT informed, parts work (related to IFS), EFT, somatic exercises, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused and Client Centered approaches to assist my clients.
At home, I'm almost a vegetarian. When I'm out and about, I'm a foodie (but no beef, shellfish, or raw protein) and get excited about discovering new yummy food places. I loooove boba drinks and almost all things sweet tasting. My heart wiggles around dogs, nature, music, visual arts, books, travel and gathering around a meal with lively or heart-felt conversations.
