About
Laura
I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, client-centered, and guided by your individual needs and goals. My approach is grounded in building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to explore challenges openly. While I provide structure and clinical guidance, I also recognize that you are the expert on your own experiences, and I strive to tailor our work together to what feels most meaningful and helpful to you. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals navigating life transitions. Whether you are adjusting to becoming a new parent, starting a new career, experiencing changes in your relationships, or facing another significant life change, I enjoy helping clients process these experiences, build resilience, and develop strategies to move forward with greater confidence and clarity. I also enjoy working with clients who are exploring relationship dynamics. Relationships play a central role in our emotional well-being, and together we can examine patterns, improve communication, strengthen boundaries, and foster healthier, more fulfilling connections with others. My goal is to create a space that feels both supportive and collaborative, where we can identify challenges, build on your strengths, and work toward lasting growth and positive change.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters and two huskies. Much of my free time is spent outdoors, whether that's taking the dogs for a long walk or enjoying a day at the beach. I also enjoy cooking and trying new foods!
