About
LaKeri
As a therapist, my deepest motivation comes from a genuine belief that nobody should have to carry their heaviest burdens alone. Life can get incredibly overwhelming, and I want to be a steady, safe space where you can drop your guard, breathe, and figure things out at your own pace. I’m driven by those breakthrough moments—when a client suddenly feels truly seen, or when a weight they’ve been carrying for years finally starts to feel a little lighter. Because of that, my clinical style is warm, down-to-earth, and entirely human. I intentionally avoid a sterile, "business-like" approach because therapy shouldn't feel like a transaction or a formal interview. Instead, I focus on building a real relationship with you.
When I’m not in the office, I am usually finding ways to relax, laugh, and fuel my creative side. Honestly, my free time is all about comfort, connection, and a good throwback vibe! Here is what a perfect day off looks like for me: Getting Crafty: I love working with my hands and diving into craft projects. There is something so therapeutic about zoning out and creating something from scratch. Classic TV Marathons: I am a huge fan of 90s sitcoms and will never turn down an episode of The Golden Girls or The Office. The Ultimate Soundtrack: My playlist is heavily dominated by 90s R&B. If there's good music playing, it instantly changes the whole mood of my day. Exploring the World: I love to travel whenever I get the chance. Experiencing new places and cultures, and just getting outside of my usual routine keeps me inspired. Quality Time: Above all, I’m big on family and friends. Whether we’re going out on an adventure or just hanging out on the couch talking, spending time with the people I love is how I truly recharge.
