About
Kristen
Hi, I'm Kristen! As a therapist, my goal in each therapy session is to ensure my clients feel deeply seen, heard, and valued. I enjoy helping my clients to clarify their goals and make actionable plans for how to achieve them. For me, therapy is about so much more than just reducing symptoms; I enjoy helping clients identify their personal strengths and values, build coping skills, break free from unhelpful patterns, set healthy boundaries, and feel empowered to embrace their most authentic and fulfilling life.
Outside of work, I find so much joy in the chaos of family life with two young kids and pet dogs and guinea pigs. I love embracing curiosity and creativity and can always be found trying new things and starting new projects. I love family dance parties, live music concerts, plant-based cooking, nature photography, long-distance running, art journaling, creative writing, beach days, and spending time in my community. I am a first-generation college graduate, come from a culturally diverse family and community, and am a very proud ally to LGBTQIA+ people and communities.
