About
Kimberly
Hello, I’m Kim. Over the past 20 years, I have treated adults experiencing a variety of concerns ranging from low mood, anxiety, and complex medical trauma. I believe that a strong, collaborative bond between therapist and client is the absolute foundation of a positive outcome. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I work side-by-side with clients to uncover their unique internal resources and strengths, empowering them to effect the meaningful changes they wish to see. I genuinely enjoy connecting with and learning from my clients; to me, therapy is a shared journey. I specialize in working with clients with complex and chronic medical issues, grief, anticipatory grief and bereavement; clients experiencing spiritual distress and existential crisis; clients with major life shifts like retirement, job loss, relationship changes, or adjusting to an empty nest. I also support parents managing the ups and downs of raising kids of all ages (including young adults).
When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my older teen and young adult children, staying active with exercise, or exploring new places—whether that’s a hidden gem close to home or a new destination far away. I genuinely love learning about other people, cultures, and places. To recharge my own battery, I always turn to nature, and I’m happiest spending time soaking up the sun at the beach or escaping into the trees.
