About
Katharine
I’m drawn to this work because of my own experience seeing and feeling real change that can happen when you find the right care. I believe in helping others access the strengths they already have because we carry what we need to help ourselves heal. Therapy is an experience and my style is a blend of Parts Work, self-compassion/mindfulness, psychodynamic, and action-oriented strategies to help this experience feel empowering to create lasting change. I use humor and relatability to connect with clients, and am thoughtful about individualizing care for each person because each person is unique in their strengths, experiences, and ability to apply what works for them.
I’m a first generation queer Filipino American. I identify as a creative spirit with interests in acting, music, martial arts, and photography. I love spending time with my loved ones, traveling, detective books/shows, and checking out local comic shops.
