About
Kate
Let's talk and better understand your needs and the issues as we prioritize where we need to begin. We will set your therapy goals together, and discuss methods your are comfortable with to address your goals. I have been in practice for 40 years. I utilize approaches of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Resource & Linkage, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based approaches to help you with your present life challenges. I look forward to meeting you and beginning your journey toward improved health and mental health!
I have been a licensed psychotherapist in 3 states over 40 years, and am interested in you, curious about your life experiences , what brings you in and am eager to facilitate your growth and progress!
I am easy to talk to, nonjudgmental and able to share some relevant personal and professional experiences to allow you "to know" the person you're sharing your most personal life challenges with. I have a sense of humor, and share this as well!
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in local mountain areas, walking my pet basset hound, and staying involved in my local community. I also enjoy art/museums/entertainment/travel and history.
