About
Jinjoo
Hi there, I’m Jinjoo! I view therapy as an opportunity to pause and reflect on what it means to genuinely be yourself. I’m committed to providing culturally-sensitive treatment and value having an authentic therapeutic relationship. I like to end each session with homework, whether it’s “food for thought” for the upcoming week, or a skill to practice until the next time we meet. I’ll help you develop positive coping strategies and identify your strengths. Working with me involves challenging old habits, celebrating small victories, and learning new relaxation skills, all while moving at your pace. I believe everyone has the strength to move past challenges and lead a fulfilling life. I look forward to meeting with you!
I am a child of immigrants and identify as Korean American. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, friends and cat, Marci. Most weekends, I’m out in nature or immersed in various craft projects (the list never ends - IYKYK). My primary craft is knitting, but I also like to quilt and paint.
