About
Jerriann
Great to meet you!
I’m Dr. Jerriann Peters. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Psy.D. and over 16 years of experience providing therapy. I specialize in working with adults who feel overwhelmed, stressed, stuck, or navigating major changes—including career transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, and barriers to personal growth.
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve spent 12 years as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University and 6 years as an executive professional coach, supporting clients with work stress, leadership challenges, confidence, and decision-making.
If you’re seeking therapy for anxiety or depression, support during a life transition, relationship issues or need help building coping skills, self-awareness, or emotional resilience, I offer a warm, supportive space to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, with greater personal agency and a sense of momentum.
Outside of work, you can find me exploring local art museums, listening to live music, or trying new restaurants in the area. I love a good book and a great cup of coffee! Above all, I treasure laughing with my family and friends and I’m always eager to connect with colleagues over shared interests. I enjoy attending psychology conferences and staying current in the field—so please feel free to reach out!
