About
Jennifer
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel truly seen, heard, and understood. What I love most about being a therapist is helping people make sense of their experiences, better understand themselves, and discover new ways of navigating life's challenges.
My style is warm, conversational, compassionate, and rooted in curiosity. I believe meaningful change often begins when we slow down and get curious about ourselves. Together, we'll explore the patterns in your life, the ways you respond to situations, and the stories you tell yourself about your experiences and relationships. I might ask, "Help me understand what that felt like for you," or "How do you know that's what's happening?" Not to challenge your feelings, but to help us look at things from a different perspective.
I believe there's room in therapy for both the really hard stuff and moments of humor and connection. I'll meet you with empathy and validation, while also gently encouraging you to explore new perspectives and possibilities. My goal isn't to tell you what to do, but to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm a wife, first-time mom to a busy and curious little boy, and someone who appreciates both life's adventures and its quieter moments. I love spending time with my family, exploring farmers markets, enjoying live theater, playing board games, and making memories with the people I love.
I'm also an active member of my church community, and my faith is an important part of my life. For clients who wish to incorporate their own faith or spirituality into therapy, I'm happy to make space for that as part of our work together.
Like many of the people I work with, I'm navigating the beautiful, messy, and sometimes chaotic balance of family, work, relationships, and finding time for myself. I believe in the importance of laughter, meaningful connections, and finding joy in the little things. Most importantly, I believe our shared human experiences, even when they look different, can help us connect with greater compassion, curiosity, and understanding.
