Jenea Howard

She/her
Jenea
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Jenea believes that it is important to build a strong therapeutic bond that is culturally sensitive to one's individualized needs and situation. Her approach is very client-centered and the modalities used vary based on the needs of each client that she works with. Jenea's communication style is supportive, compassionate, genuine, calm, and sometimes direct when needed. It is important for her to create an environment where her clients would feel comfortable, safe, and empowered while in sessions together. As a Clinician, she is passionate about helping others become the best version of themselves, find resilience, discovering their strengths, and overcome life's obstacles through resilience and healing. An important part of her work is to discover the root issues and partner with her clients to come up with effective ways to approach those life issues by providing resources that will assist in gaining the knowledge, skills, and support needed to thrive.

In her spare time, Jenea enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, being in nature, snuggling up with her dogs, and watching a great movie or show. She finds joy in music, dancing, her faith, and connecting to her culture.
