About
Jeffery
My motivation is to help people feel understood, supported, and better equipped to handle the challenges in their lives. My background in the military, law enforcement, leadership, and mental health has shaped my commitment to working with veterans, first responders, professionals, and others facing stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, or major life changes. My style is practical, respectful, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, so I take time to understand each person’s experiences, goals, strengths, and concerns. I provide honest feedback, teach useful tools, and help clients recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I also understand that trust takes time, and I work to create a space where clients can speak openly without feeling judged. I tailor therapy to the individual rather than using the same approach with everyone. Depending on the client’s needs, sessions may focus on managing stress, processing difficult experiences, improving relationships, setting boundaries, building confidence, or developing healthier ways to respond to emotions and life pressures. My goal is to help clients make meaningful progress that carries into their daily lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, who bring a great deal of joy and balance to my life. I also enjoy adventure travel, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures. When I am closer to home, I appreciate discovering new restaurants, trying different foods, and spending time relaxing and recharging.
