About
Jann
Hello! My name is Jann and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I enjoy working with adults navingating depression, anxiety, identity development, relational challenges, and life transitions. As a first-generation Filipino American, I am particularly interested in supporting immigrants, children of immigrants, and BIPOC communities as they navigate complexities surrounding cultural identity, family expectations, and intergenerational experiences.
My clinical style is warm, empathic, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where my clients feel safe, heard, and supported, while also encouraging them explore patterns and challenge unhelpful beliefs that are keeping them stuck. I believe that lasting change comes from balancing compassion with accountability, empowering my clients to develop greater self-awarness and make intetional changes that align with their values and authentic selves.
Outside of my career as a clinican, I enjoy taking care of my plant collection, photography, spending quality time with my loved ones including my dogs, and traveling the world. I'm also an avid movie enthusiast with a personal goal of watching at least 100 movies a year (and yes, I'm an A-list member).
