About
Janessa
Throughout my career in both community mental health and private practice, I have walked alongside people facing everything from everyday life stressors to deep, complex trauma. My approach has been described as warm and directly honest. I believe that sincere change can happen when you can speak openly to a trusted professional and follow it up with concrete, behavioral steps. I also integrate specialized trauma treatment (i.e., EMDR), combining it with values-focused and meaning-centered approaches to help you connect to what matters most. I am strongly driven by the fundamental belief that everyone has the capacity for change.
Outside of the office, I stay grounded by spending time running and hiking in regional and state parks. I also enjoy spending time with animals, discovering new music, and attending concerts.
