About
Jamie
Hi, I'm Jamie, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe that meaningful change happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences, emotions, and patterns without judgment.
My approach is relational, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I draw from EMDR, attachment theory, psychodynamic concepts, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and create lasting change. Together, we may explore how past experiences and relationships continue to influence present-day challenges while also focusing on practical tools and strategies for moving forward.
I have a special interest in working with trauma, women's mental health, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, ADHD, relationship difficulties, divorce, and major life transitions. I strive to create a warm, authentic, and collaborative space where clients feel supported while also being challenged to grow.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in recurring patterns, struggling in relationships, or processing painful experiences, therapy can provide an opportunity to develop deeper self-understanding, strengthen resilience, and build a more fulfilling life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three teenagers, hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest, reading, and photography!
