About
Jamie
Hello, I'm Jamie. Seeking support takes courage, and I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where my clients can explore challenges, build upon their strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and trauma. I understand that every person's experiences are unique, so I tailor treatment to meet my clients' individual needs and goals.
My approach is person-centered and integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based interventions. Together, my clients and I will identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, develop practical coping skills, and foster lasting growth.
I enjoy spending quality time with my two children and spouse, playing board games and video games, reading (and listening to audiobooks) psychological thrillers/historical fiction, and relaxing outside in nature. I also have two dogs, Cookie and Pepper, that may make an appearance during sessions.
