About
Jaime
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has served as a Clinical Director, managing clinical operations, directing client care programs, and running a specialized forensic practice certified by the State of California. I got my start in the sex therapy niche working with sexual offenders, which provided me with deep, foundational expertise in navigating complex behavioral addictions, direct behavior change, and specialized sex therapy. Beyond my forensic and behavioral background, I am highly experienced in providing compassionate grief therapy and am deeply passionate about helping clients navigate behavioral changes related to weight loss and general habit reform. In my practice, I lean heavily on the principles of strategic brief therapy to ensure we are actively reaching goals, rather than just billing for sessions. My diverse professional background spans running a successful independent private practice and delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health treatment to help clients achieve lasting transformation.
Outside of the clinical space, you can usually find me staying active outdoors through open-water swimming or long ruck walks with a weighted vest. I also love country swing dancing on the weekends, baking low-carb treats at home, and spending quality time with my dog, Lucy.
